In this article, we’re sharing the top 7 ways to quickly give your home a new awakening and get it Spring ready. When warmer weather arrives, you will be all ready to discover new experiences with family and friends.
Open the windows. Fresh air on a sunny day can provide many benefits to our health. If you live in a place that doesn’t have a lot of sun, that’s ok. Pick the next warmish day and get those windows open to allow fresh air inside.
Do a deep Clean to quickly give your home a spruce up. Wipe baseboards, window trims and hard to reach surfaces where hidden dust collects using our bamboo wool feather duster by Perigot. 3. Wash Bedding and Replace with lighter weight fabrics. Many of us may not know that our pillows also need to be washed every so often. Our favorite pillows have a cover that zips off so we can wash the cover of the pillow while we’re washing our sheets. Vacuum your mattress to get rid of mites and dust. Once your mattress and pillows are clean, replace your heavy weight fabrics with lighter ones. You won’t need all that weight come Spring!
4. Update throw pillows and throw blankets with lighter fabrics in Spring colors. I keep a back up throw pillows and blankets that I can rotate depending on the season. This way I am not purchasing all new. Since trends do change, I like to add a couple of new ones to the mix.

5. Refresh your environment with updated decor items. You don’t have to buy all new decor for Spring. By rearranging and relocating your favorite pieces, you can bring new life to classics. Start by doing this and take note of the surfaces and spaces that feel empty. Here’s where adding a few new pieces comes in. Look for items that inspire you and awaken your senses. 6. Bring the outdoors in. One of my absolute favorite and inexpensive ways to give a space new life is by bringing trimmings from outdoor plants into a room. Not only will it provide natural oxygen to winter’s stale air but it will also liven up your counters and ultimately your mood! 7. Last but not least, find a new inspiring scent. One of our absolute FAVORITES for Spring is Fresh Linen.
